Found Future Records started because I genuinely just love music, art, and self-expression.


AI gets a ton of shit (and plenty of debate), but honestly, if you've got a phone and an internet connection, it's never been easier to bring your ideas to life. That's punk as fuck. I'm looking for artists who embrace this new tool to dive deeper into their own thoughts, feelings, and weird ideas.


I want artists juggling a day job, school, kids, or some other BS that's holding them back from making music the way they really want to.


Some of you out there have discovered this AI thing—this game-changing tool—that lets you create music in a way you never could before. It's another step forward, like Auto-Tune, bedroom production, DAWs, or even the drum machine before it.


You're exactly the kind of artist I'm looking to sign.

STIGMA OF AI + ART

AI in music is controversial. Rightfully so.


The mainstream use of AI is built on deepfake voices, clickbait production, and replacing artists with spam. Found Future Records is the opposite of that.


Here, AI is a brush, not the painter. We only work with people who put themselves into their work. AI is just another tool in their belt.


We reject all:

  • Fully AI-generated songs
  • Plagiarized AI voices or clones
  • Art made with no human intent


We’re here to prove that AI-assisted music can be messy, emotional, and deeply human.

Found Future Records is an independent music label built on two decades of creative experience and a lifelong DIY ethos. Founded by musician and producer Jason M. Ashley, the label is dedicated to artists who blend authentic human creativity with cutting-edge AI tools—without sacrificing originality, emotion, or craft.


This is not a factory for generic AI-generated tracks. Every release under the Found Future Records name represents an artist who writes their own lyrics, melodies, and concepts, and channels genuine artistic intent into the final product, regardless of the production methods used. The label exists as a stamp of authenticity in a space often clouded by low-effort content.


With a background in punk and independent music scenes since 1998, combined with 17 years of professional marketing expertise, Jason brings both creative and strategic insight to help artists reach audiences who will truly connect with their work. Found Future Records is a collaborative, passion-driven platform for musicians who see AI not as a shortcut, but as a creative amplifier.
